I know most of you guys/gals on here like to keep your AK's looking original with wood...
but i had a question for those of us with the rails and synthetics..

Which Vertical grip would you recommend?

Im looking for something not to heavy but that fits my hand well

Anyone have any experience with the Command arms one for like 19.99?

and I was wondering if it would fit Picatinny rails?

Thanks alot

Whatever you choose it needs to be short and forward enough to allow you plenty of clearance to get mags in and out.

good call...so maybe i will just order up that small little command arms vertical..it looks pretty solid

and its only 19.99, so if it breaks or w/e, which im sure it wont, its only 20 smackers

I like this grip, but can't remember who manufactures it. I can check when I get back to the house tonight, but IIRC it was a $20 purchase from a gunshow a couple years back.

Nice rifle.

Do you find that removing the cleaning rod increases accuracy?

I've never benchmarked it but based on offhand observation I'd say it doesn't matter on a practical level. It shoots 2-3 moa most of the time with or without, but looks better with
