So I'm new to AK's and have no idea on what to buy and how to check if what I'm buying is what they are selling.
Is there a cheat sheet for AK manufacturers that I can reference when I'm looking at one. I was looking at was said to be a sar-1 but like I stated I have no idea what I'm looking at or for. Please help Thanks |

If you're looking at an SAR1 the only real thing to worry about is if the front sight is canted. It will be easy to tel lif it is or not.
IIRC, the SAR1s that came in were also know for trigger slap. Some were known to have a very painful case of it. It's any easy fix if the one you end up with has it though. |
