| What kind of barrels will work on AMD 65 kits? I have the opportunity to get an AMD kit with a cut barrel for super cheap and I'd hate to pass it up. Would any barrel from a stamped build work? Of course I know a standard length barrel would have to be cut down and recrowned.... |

Hell I got nothing against it if you just want to build an (almost) exact copy of an AMD65, but most people end up welding extentions to them to bring them UP to legal length... just seems a little wierd to me. |

IMO, the best option is to get on the pre-order list at Copes dist for a new barrel of legal length. I would definitely buy the kit, then get a Nodak Spud receiver as soon as possible. |
