My lovely wife picked this up for me over Xmas and I'm wondering what you guys would do?  Should I get tactical or should I try the more traditional look.

I'm just wondering what some of you more experienced AK'rs here would do if someone gave you this rifle and said..'fix it up'!
If you need more pics let me know!

Thus far I've only put one 30rd magazine through her but I'm in love w/her..

I've come to the conclusion that I need to buy a bunch of "bolt" on stuff for all of my guns. Wood, plastic, metal. That way I can put on what ever I feel like at the moment. Kind of like changing clothes

If I like wood one day I go with that. Tactical the next.

^^ I would but the dag'd ol plastic upper/lower doesn't fit correctly

So that bothers me.  Would like to get some wood furniture and stain it the deep reddish color I've seen here on the board.  Anybody swap out the furniture on one of these before??

Lots of people swap out there stocks here. It's not a difficult job at all to do.

Get some new stocks, check that you're happy with the fit. If you need to adjust them a little, do so. Then refinish and install.

if you want some nice woodstocks check out ironwood designs and plus it helps your 922 count if you need it.
