| hey will a poly tech stock set fit on a non poly tech gun? i always thought that yugos were the only ak's that you couldnt interchange parts with, but then i came on a poly tech stock set that said to be used with only poly tech guns..... |

Poly Tech (PTK) stock sets for MILLED AK's will work on any MILLED AK, provided the rifle is set up for military stocks already. PTK stock sets for STAMPED AK's will work on any Chinese STAMPED AK. Some Chinese AK's have folding bayonets, so this necessitates two lower handguard types; one with a bayonet slot and one without.
The PTK pistol grip and upper handguard will work on practically any AK. The Chinese stamped buttstock will work on Euro guns AFTER WOOD FITTING, but won't work on Yugos at all. The Chinese stamped lower handguard is pretty much unique, but can be modified to work on milled AK's (after narrowing rear tenon), and will mostly "fit" a stamped Euro AK (tenon too short, width is close & can be fitted). |
