[ARCHIVED THREAD] - Tantal folder question

Hi All, will a Tantal folder arm fit onto a Norinco 56S? Also, any recommendations on where to buy a tantal folding stock? Thanks in advance.

Not 100% sure but I believe the answer is no.

If the Chinese rifle is a fixed stock it will work, however you will have to take some material off the sides of the stock where it fits in to the receiver. Chinese receivers are 1.6mm thick, the Tantal stock is made for 1mm receivers.

I was trying to attempt this and when I lined them up I found the polish trunion rivet holes did not line up. It seems it will work if your working from a blank receiver and drill the holes yourself.

The rear trunnion is completly seperate from the Tantal stock.
