I just purchased a fixed-stock Yugo (my first AK) and took it to the range. It shot pretty far to the left. Actually REALLY far to the left. So I bought a sight-adjustment tool and adjusted the front sight as far to the left as it could go. It still shoots 2-3" to the left at 50 yards. Also, putting the sights that far to the left makes the rifle uncomfortable to shoot. I basically have to put my cheek on top of the stock to get a good sight picture, as opposed to keeping my head to the side, and I the stock jumps into my face whenever I shoot. Is there any way to "fix" the rifle so that it doesn't shoot so far to the left? I'd like to be able to leave the front sight post somewhere near the middle of the sight block, and not have to lean so far over the stock to get a decent sight picture. |

Not a true fix, more of a band-aid, but you could get a RPK or Mojo rear sight for the rifle. Both are windage adjustable. Edit: If it's a Century build and still under warranty, you can send it back and have them fix their shit. Their customer service is actually pretty good. |

Sending it back to Century is probably the route to go. It's a new rifle. I'll call them tomorrow. I actually wouldn't mind the peep sight, but it just seems so unwholesome to put one on an AK. I like the traditional look. Thanks for the responses guys. |
