| I sent a parts kit and receiver to a builder mid-May. I was told it would be 4-5 weeks for the build. It has been close to 20 weeks now and no rifle. On top of the extremely long build time, after I called for an update, I was informed a rare item enclosed with the kit was damaged. It was replaced with an "identical" part the builder had at the shop. I asked about getting my part back, but they said since the part was replaced with an identical one, they are going to keep my original part. Now, two additional weeks later after the last time I was told it would be shipped out, I still have nothing. I understand there were parts of my build that could be seen as more "custom" than most other builds, but the 4-5 weeks turning into 20+ weeks and a hard to find item was broken and replaced and I wasn't informed of it has started to bother me. Does anyone else see a reason for concern or am I just being too impatient? Any suggestions? |

I had an AK that I sent out returned 2 years later by the Kansas state attorney general. Google 'Gary Gucciano' for the full story. IANAL The stuff you sent them is YOUR property. They must return ALL your property if you ask for it back. They can ask for shipping and payment for any work they have already done, but that's it. BSW |
