Can someone tell me how to change one of these? Does it just push put of the gas block or what?

Grind off the head on the LH side, and punch it out from the trunnion. To install a new one, slide it in from the RH side, and flatten the opposite end.

If mine is loose, can this help tighten it up? Has anyone else ever had a loose one?

Thank you sir. That sounds too easy and I'm sure I'll find a way to screw it up.

I broke one off once. It was Hungarian. Replaced it with a Bulgarian latch, though there was some slight fitting required. No biggie really... a LOT easier than replacing that damn magazine catch spring.
