Just got a used Lancaster AK and the front sight seems a little canted to the left. Is there a simple way to correct it? Shipping is not an option as I am in Alaska and no local dealer really does any gunsmith work on AK's

you have a problem my firend.... check to see if your gas tube is canted too. if so you have a bit of work to do. check the info links at the top of the AK forum

Gas tube appears straight. If I punch the pins on the sight base what will I find?
