I bought a romy g from shooters whole sale the rifle looks great just how I thought it would . But I could not get the mags to seat the front of the mags would not go in to the well .So I messed with it looked at it and I think when I looked and compaired the mag well to my fact 97 model romanin their are two rivets just past the dimples on the inside on the new gun were very rounded and in the way of a mag seating in . My other ak fact gun they are flat .any ever see this and could it been the problem . Gerry Sweat at shooters whole said send it back . I was carefull and dremelled a little on the inside to flaten down the bumps on the inside . Guess what it helped Istill sent it back they said it was fine .I think it needed more work  ANYONE EVER SEE THIS BEFORE

I've seen this with home builds, either you smash the rivet more or do what you did and dremel/grind it down enough so the mag fits.

Without seeing it you'll have to use your judgement if it needs more taken off, but if the mag is inserting without rubbing those rivets then you should be fine.

i've got my G75 in my lap right now....looking in the mag well i'm not seeing any problem rivets.  Right above the dimples there are the 2 little steel plates that are welded to the inside of the reciever....this makes my mag fit VERY tight...but i have 40-something mags and i have tried them all and they all fit.
