Well just a heads up for anyone planning this for whatever reason, cold weather, tooth chatter, whatever...  I shoot lefty and its a major pain in the ass to wrap it so that it wont interfere (contact) the safety, that is unacceptable.  Anyway the project isnt done but has anyone had luck with doing this>> It would be no prob on the other folder arm but Im only wrapping one side.

Don't know if this helps but...

I am a Southpaw as well. For uncomfortable folding buttstocks, I cut a piece of foam pipe insulation and slit it so it will pop on/off instantly. You don't need a long piece and I keep it with spare mags in a pouch. Zip-ties or duct tape will make it semi-permanant for extended shooting sessions. Seriously, it is easier to pop it on than to do a mag change.

Sounds real good-- Only thing is I'd like to be able to disengage the safety while folded and fire JUST IN CASE.  Ya know Tinfoil-Hat style

Edit:  I think I MAY be able to slice away the problem and quickly melt the cord to keep it secure, thanks for the reply.
