I put a TAPCO slant brake on a build I am working on. It slants to the opposite side of the norm. Does this matter? Instead of to the left, the slant is to the right.

Don't worry, this is completely normal. Everyone's slants to the left or right. Whats more important is that you hit your intended target. :)

sorry, had to.

It's screwed up. The point of a slant brake is to counteract the tendency of the rifle to rise and move to the right when fired full auto by a right handed shooter. Yours would work for a left handed shooter.
Of course, since your rifle is semi auto it doesn't really matter.

I slants to the same side, Is this counter balance? Just kidding. That is good to know on the semi-auto part, just looks strange.
