I've decided to buy an AK 74 for the cheap 5.45 ammo. If I buy This rifle http://www.jgsales.com/product_info.php/products_id/1080 Will it be possible to fit this muzzle brake on it? http://www.aimsurplus.com/cgi-bin/sh000001.pl?REFPAGE=http%3a%2f%2fwww%2eaimsurplus%2ecom%2facatalog%2fKimber_Custom_II_%2e45acp_1911_Pistol%2ehtml&WD=74%20ak&PN=Threaded_AK%2d74_style_AK_Muzzle_Brake%2ehtml%23a1167#a1167 What kind of tools will it take? If you can't answer my questions can you just provide me with more information on AK 74's? Thanks in advance. |

I don't know, but I think that it might be too small of a diameter to thread it 14x1 LH. Another option would be to thread it to 1/2-28 and use a 1/2x28 to 24mm adapter and use a standard AK74 break. That is going to increase the cost a bit so factor that into the price. |
why would you want to fit a muzzle brake not designed for 5.45 onto the WASR 2 though? You can get a '74 one SOMEWHERE on the internet i'm sure. |
