| Anyone here have a AK pistol? WHat kind & how do you like it? I have AR15 pistols but I am in DIRE NEED of a AK47 pistol.......Got any pics post them! Is there anything that you dont like about these pistols? |

I have the century Romy AK47 pistol in 7.62X39. It is 20" long, reliable and accurate. Centerfire systems has them for $399 right now. It fits in my blackhawk 3 day pack when I travel. I put a sling on the rear and it is my PDW. The only dislike is the mag well is really tight. My wood was rough but I sanded it and stained it. Sorry I do not know how to post pics or I would. For got to add:: I love it!! |

I built this one from a kit for about $750. Its a gas to shoot and could be used for about anything you would care to do with it. go for it while you can.

I love AK pistols... Much cheaper and practical than an SBR (though you gotta have a few of those too...). They really are decent PDWs too, provided you have a decent barrel length, and a good sling setup. I run the sling from the back of the gun over my right shoulder and under my left. Cheek weld (kinda) on the strap that's pulled tight by pushing the gun out. I can get very decent groups for CQB. |

I have never even considered an AK pistol. Just seemed sort of a weird idea serving little purpose. Figured accuracy would REALLY go down the toilet with the shorter barrel. Then Blaine has to get all unfair and post that AK pistol porno.{DROOL} And Wildgoose what sort of sights do you have on yours? Trying to make judgements for size it looks like a pretty small target and I enlarged it and it looks like you shot it at 100 yards. This MOA sub MOA once I REALLY got my head around it doesn't mean much to me. Looks like at 100 yard that pistol got the job done if you were trying to put someone down. You fellows REALLY have to stop doing this to me. I am trying to take a limited budget with a skyrocketing price market and make some correct, well thought out choices. I can't keep getting all Homer Simpson, (Mmmm, AK Pistols. AAGGHHHGGG) and stay on point. Its just not fair. Much more and I am going to have to USE the stuff I have to accquire more money to get the stuff I WANT. Please have a heart, show a little mercy. Cheers, RWB64 |
How do you figure it is more practical than an SBR? You can do everything with an SBR that you can do with the pistol. Plus with a folding stock you will actually have a practical rifle and be able to reach out as far as accurate fire is concerned. Cheaper? Yes. More practical? No. |
| I have a J-newt built AMD AK Pitstol that shoots and looks great and has less then 150 rounds down the pipe. Although it is a great piece, I have a INRANGE build SBR Krink in 762 and do not shoot the pistol. Do to other pending projects I am going to sell it. I will post on the EE by the end of the week and should have some pics by Sunday. It is a much better looking then any of the century stuff you will find. |
Its a five round mag. Makes it legal for this in my home state.

Hey there Atlantic Firearms.. I have a question about the Sierra 8" (here on your site). Is the top handguard missing? I assume that's the way it is, but it just looks weird to me. I don't own any AK-type stuff, just AR-10s and AR-15s, pistols and shotguns. I convinced myself that I need something AK-style in 7.62x39. EDIT: Actually, I think I like the Sierra Mini-Galil more (here). What's the possibility of getting one of these? G |
