WASR 22 (Classic Arms Indian Trail NC$249.95) AROUND 250+ dollars less than GSG 5 and WASR 22 takes all AK furniture an accesories ! AKT-98 (Another earlier Romanian rimfire AK variant like WASR 22 but with black plastic furniture ) is no longer available new and there is an RPK 22 but they are rare . And these Rimfires are sooooo much fun to tinker with and inexpensive to shoot ... If you have a lot of AK spares you can swap furniture around and change them , plus they are buildable |
| Question for you wasr-22 owners these work on blow back and have no gas port? Anyone would mind showing some pictures of the bolt and the top of the receiver? better yet a exploded view or schematic.I have never had the opportunity to inspect one. These seem interesting and much better made than armscor. My Mitchell ak-22 broke the firing pin, looks like I am in a world of hurt. |
| WASR 22's are built with CUR class/type(In many aspects except demple shape) Recievers that are from a recent era production and not leftovers of past production runs re-arsonal or Demilling? or lower grade castoffs in productin quality discernment! Most WASR 22's were built in either 2005 or newer and they must still be making them to be bringing over 100-200 more per month (Mine was made in 2006-7) |
