Just bought a SAR1 and I was told that it has a Single Hook Trigger. Just wondering what the difference is ? My Arsenal Classic I'm told has a double hook... Can the SAR1 be converted to a Double hook, and would it be worth doing ?

Thanks,

Pop off the dust cover and look at the hook holding the trigger when cocked.  That is your single hook.  No need to change it to a double in your SAR-1 - it doesn't get you anything.

+1 Sar1's work fine with a single hook g2. I have one in mine.

In general the receiver determines double or single. If you are building on a new receiver you can cut your own groove for a double hook.
Left = Double Hook, Right = Single Hook.

If you are building on a No Dak Spud NDS-3 receiver, you'll want to use a double hook. There is a known problem with NDS-3 receivers and Tapco single hooks . Most likely it's the receiver not the FCG.
