| I have an Ultimak installed on my mak-90 with the poly-heatshielded lower HG also from Ultimak. I've read on here that for the heatshield to work there needs to be a gap between both the barrel and the shield and the shield and the HG. The clamps on the Ultimak however touch the shield. Will this cause a problem possibly melting the HG? I took it to the range a couple weeks ago and went through 180 rounds in about fourty five minuets to an hour and didn't feel the HG get hot. The Ultimak was rather hot though. Am I worring about nothing o rdo I need to go another route? Thanks guys. |
