I want to know if anyone has had experience with Beryl Style Scope Mount from DPH? In before I order it.

I have one that I just got from them last week.
It fit great on both my Mak90 and a Saiga 308.

It sits inline with the bore and seems to be a great product.

Haven't had a chance to go shooting with it, so I can't attest to its durability yet.

have heard both good an bad......would wait for the one from Krebs custom.....should be out soon

Do you lose a rear sight when you replace this with the original?

The big disadvantages are that you lose the rear sight (this mount fits into the rear sight base in place of the rear sight) and that you can't take off the dust cover for cleaning without removing the screw that holds on the mount. That may very well effect the zero of the mount also.
