Good luck in your search. I was able to find a post Soviet era manufactured (UPO-2) for $300 earlier this year. It was in the display case at a local gun shop. Just a fluke. Keep an eye on the ad boards.

I did a search for the UPO-2 and found them at the Novosibirsk Instrument Making Plant. There is a website in Russian but I don't think they have these offered for export sales. Thought I might throw that info out for anyone interested.

I have seen 2 and like them. FOV about 8deg (between 6 for the 4x24 posp and 12 for the PO 3.5 which weighs 2lbs). Decent clarity, and actual incremental cam instead of the Trilux hi/lo option.
