crappy optics will lose zero between shots and  make point of impact shift

nothing you can do other than buy a new optic, but even with a $900 scope you still have an AK which is not that accurate

ok so how would he be able to tell just by looking at the pic????

i dont seem to have that problem because i can easily hit a clay pidgeon at 200 yards.

Well, that makes at least two of us who are confused.

If your scope/mount combo gets you on target at 200yds, you're good to go.  OBVIOUSLY the scope is not wandering (not wondering.)

I too, thought he saw a pic of your TARGET and stated he thought your scope was wandering.  For someone to say what he said MERELY from seeing that pic, he should be ignored.  He's not helping, he's just crapping on you.  Forget him.

NCStar isn't known for their combat optics, but PLENTY of shooters have them and use them with good results.  If you get to the point where you can't hit crap, and the adjustment knobs are broken, THEN buy a new one.  But unless you're trusting your life to it, who cares.  Buy what you want, and can afford.

I'm impressed that you can hit clay pigeons at 200yds with that rifle.  Excellent work!

that is off a bench not off hand but at least i know the rifle is cappable of doing that . now i need to get that good off hand. as far as trusting it with my life. i paid 30$ for it if the shtf i would remove it and use iron sights that is assuming the kobra (gotta get me one of those) i plan on buying isnt here yet.

Assuming the scope is not loose on the mount, the reticle in the scope is not secured by the adj anymore. Your crosshairs may be on target, but the gun is aimed otherwise.

If you shoot better with irons, the scope is now a target.
