Does anyone know if the psop 4x24 scope comes w/ the mount? From the pictures it looks like the scope and mount are one piece. Thanks

Usually yes, but there are a few weaver base versions of these as well. Either has a 'mount', most have the side rail mount bracket.
Got link?

If the AK has a siderail, this'll work.

Although it may be hard to see right away, the scope on the picture has an SVD, not an AK mount.  That means that although it will fit onto a standard AK mounting rail, it will be dismounted with recoil after several shots no matter how hard you adjust the clamping mechanism.

kalibr is correct about the SVD mount. It can be made to work with a little customizing. Remove the front stop pin on the mount and either put a stop at the front of the rail (on the rifle itself), put a pin at the rear of the clamp (makes for very short eye relief), or rig a "hook" at the rear of the mount like the Russians did in Afghanistan on the scoped '74's (Tantal used to have info on this). The SVD mount on the small obj. PSO's keeps the scope closer to the bore. The AK or "V" clamp positions great for eye relief but places the scope higher than neccesary for the 24mm obj's ( the larger obj 6x and 8x's need the "V" clamp.

avatarhammer, I agree with you.  if you want to adjust the SVD mount so that it works on an AK rail, the goal is to "create" a stopper that would prevent the scope from sliding forward and off the rail.  You can also convert an SVD scope into an AK scope by swapping the lower portion of the mount for the "V" clamp.
