I just acquired a side mount scope for my SAR-1. It has all of the Russian markings on it and is a 4x24A1, made in Belarus. What is Russian for UP or Down, and Left, Right? On one side, just below the battery compartment (1 AA battery) is the marking "AK12". The reticle is RED when illuminated. There is also a Bullet Drop Compensation field, and I admit that it is all strange to me. Need some help understanding it all. Can someone tell me where I can get some info on this scope, and where I can get info on the proper way to mount the scope? I would also like to get some general information about the scope also...Any help out there? Thx, Rexman |
