Nobody was able to see my post so I'm sorta reposting this...
Folks... I got a used Aimpoint Compc3 from Ebay. The red dot was as it was no box or manual. I just received it today and wanted to make sure this is legit. Here is the link to the listing: http://www.ebay.com/itm/Aimpoint-11421-CompC3-2-MOA-Red-Dot-Sight-With-Flip-Ups-And-Mount-/271869477329?nma=true&si=CqV%252BdwifQkptj3mRVUNDbf5FPbs%253D&orig_cvip=true&rt=nc&_trksid=p2047675.l2557 A few things I noticed: 1. the lense covers were not aimpoint but butlercreek. 2. adjustment knobs were a little different than it shows on the youtube video. Instead of UP and R for elevation and windage it is UP-L and UP-R for elevation and windage as shown in pics And they are clearly different than the ones in the video... https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3r3orqvBlWk 3. The serial # begins with a 'W' 4. Also, I'm assuming the yellowish resin looking thing inside the scope is normal? Link to the pictures: http://s1299.photobucket.com/user/yekcoh/slideshow/Aimpoint%20Compc3 I've never had a red dot before and the red dots are blurrier than I thought. Please help me out. Update: After hitting the range, the red dot seems legit but still can't tell since it's my very first.. I hate the sheet metal around the adjustment knob. Id say the dot is really more like 2.5 MOA. Indeed, it was free of parallax. One thing to mention, I didn't know how tight I shouldve tightened the mount but the thing came loose once... |
