[ARCHIVED THREAD] - RS Regulate mount

I am considering the purchase of a US Regulate red dot mount, but I'm not sure which one to order (front biased, rear biased or full length). Would the front or rear biased mount be too far forward or rearward to mount a 30mm red dot?

I use the front type lower on my SGL31, and I'm running an Aimpoint PRO. It's really just a preference thing. Mock up your optic to where you'd want it to sit, then go from there.

I also am trying to decide what one to get. I will be using it with a Bushnell TRS25 and like the idea of the sight being all the way forward to the iron sight, will this set up cowitness?

As I said I like this position but then think maybe the full length would be better as it give more options when you change your mind at a later date and want to run a different optic.

Both of my RS bases are the full length 303s, I don't want to limit my future options. A 303 will work with any optic.

Yup, I bought two from Brownells, same thing. Yea it might weigh a little more but I have lots of flexibility.
