I mounted one on my AMD 65 with an Attero mount.  It zeroed in great and for the first two trips it was amaaaaaaazing.  After about 500 rounds through it, and at the very first shot of the 4th range trip with it, went out.  I turned it back on and shot again, and it went out again.  I tightened the battery door and still the same thing.  Has anybody els had trouble with this sight, or does anyone have one mounted on their AK with zero problems?  I sent it back for a new one so any help would be great so I can decide if I should tare into the package and use it or sell it.  Thanks.

I ran one on my AK-74 without issue. I'd keep the next one and see what happens.

I think if you like the sight give it a second chance if it fails, then send it back again.

Thank you for your feedback, gentlemen.  I have received the new sight but have decided to leave it in the packaging and selling it with the Attero mount.  I purchased a TWS dogleg rail so I will no longer be using the mount and with the mount gone, the sight will be too high for any kind of cowitness.  I also have decided to get myself the Aimpoint micro T-1 as a birthday present for myself in early January.  So, I will not be needing these anymore and cannot wait to have that absolute cowitness setup with a far far better sight.  Another problem was that it could not be removed quickly.  When the sight failed me, I had to get the allen wrench out of the handle of the AK and take it off.  I can see the Attero mount sights through the Burris but it was a little difficult.  Not a practical setup, from my experience.  I would have been screwed, had I been in the middle of a gunfight.  SHEESH.  BTW, Attero's customer service stinks.

I would have to TOTALLY disagree with your statement about Attero's customer service. I have found the owner to be nothing but helpful, courteous and attentive. I always cringe when people make parting shot statements about a company without elaborating.
