What is the best red dot setup for a Bulgy 74? I don't want to have something mounted so high that I have a chin weld instead of a cheek weld.
I do have a Aimpoint T-1 I could use.

No problems with heat and the mini-reddots?

My Bushnell TRS-25 MRD is doing just fine on my Ultimak.
A decent quality dot shouldn't have problems. Just don't buy the cheapest POS MRD you can find and hope it survives.

I'd go with the Trijicon RMR (The fiber and Tritium model) and use the mount that Larue sells. If you can find one

I'm assuming the Ultimak mount is stable?? No drifting off zero one way or the other??
I've got a spare AimPoint ML3 2 moa that I'd like to stick on either the std 74 or have another on the way from Gewehr Werks with a sidemount.
