Try this
Standard mil-spec 7.62x39 is 124gr @ 2330 fps. I think the BC of those bullets are around .250. Sight height is ~1.5", IIRC, but it will vary depending on your sight. FWIW, I zero at 25m because that is useful for me. YMMV. |

I ended up going with a 300 yard zero on my SLR105 with Konus red dot and SGL31 with PO 3.5 optic. Today I was nailing about 90% hits at 300 yards with both.
The Krink has a decent 100 yard zero and I had to use some hold over at 300 but not much, I'd say aiming at the head or neck and getting chest/gut hits at that range. I have a 50 yard zero on my SGL31 irons and could hit a fullsize target over 90% of the time using irons at center mass at 300 yards. Dude would probably have no knees left but at least I know a center mass aiming point is going to score hits all the way out to 300
