I was hoping that someone here could help me identify a red dot sight.  I have dial up so posting a picture is a bit difficult so I will try to describe it as best as I can.  My coworker was in Germany when the wall came down and he picked up a few of these sights.  The one he gave m came in a round black plastic, screw top container with a sticker that has cyrillic writing on it.  The sight looks similer to some of the pictures of the Kobra sight. Included in the container is a set of instructions also in cyrillic. The sight body is made from metal and it appears to take AA batteries.  On the base plate there is a serial number and if you were looking at the sight as if it was mounted there is a plate with the letters PYCAK and a marking with a bent arrow inside of an crooked square. I really do not know how better to describe it but was hoping that someone here could help id it.

So it is like a Kobra in that you look through an arch up front instead of a full tube?

Yes, it looks alot like a Kobra but the body is different, I was wondering if it is an earlier generation Kobra.

I looked at that site and it is similer but the on/off switch is forward facing and is a small round knob the body of the unit is like two tube bodies side by side except the tube that has the on/off switch is only about a third of the lendth of the battery storage tube.
