Being as how I have not seen saddle brown in I don't know how long I ordered a couple 12 packs. |
| The prices of all 5.54 including ammo and mags have been dropping big time over the past few years. I think some commies are switching over to 223 with NATO and unloading their stuff. Believe it or not, I think the prices will fall more in time. K-Var really has its head up its proverbial selling 5.45 mags so expensive, or at least their buyers do..... |
I just want to be sure of the color I'm getting. I've seen a bit of a discrepancy in mags that are adverstised as Bulgy browns and reds. For example, I stole this pic from 5.45 Mag guide website, I hope the owner does not mind.  The website lists the second mag as brown, the third as saddle tan, and the fourth as firebrick red. I have plenty of the browns (from the old ORF 12 packs), but none of the saddle tans as shown in the third mag in the pic. |
I don't. You're not trying to represent the pic as your own, so it's all good. My stuff can be linked to or reproduced freely, as long as I get my props. 
The pics on K-VAR's web site match mine, although their terminology for the color of the 3rd mag in my pic is "Saddle Brown" rather than "Saddle Tan". The chocolate/mocha color like the 2nd mag is just called "Brown". That said, I've never known ORF to offer the Saddle Tan/Saddle Brown mags; everything I've gotten from them in the past has been regular Brown. I would ass-u-me that the ORF mags are "Brown," but somebody will have to post a pic of what they receive before we can know for sure. |
All of the browns i have from ORF are the second to the left type.
Those were used good-excellent, these are supposedly new. I will let you'll know when i get my black ones from them this week if they are in fact brand new.... |

The new ones I bought had individual price tags on them a couple of years ago. They were offered as new, some had ink stamps. The ones I got in the 12 packs were like new to pretty bad but all functioned. Some of these pictured are the new, others are from the used.
