Hi, I own a WASR-10 that is configured single stack. I investigated a conversion to double stack. When I looked at the front trunnion I noticed that it seemed much narrower than another Ak(double stack ) that I compared it with. I realize that the magwell is narrow(that is what is expanded in the conversion. Are there narrow and double wide trunnions out there or are my old eye playing tricks. Does anyone make larger capacity single stack magazines? Thx |
| Indeed some of the single stack WASRs have narrow trunnions. But some guys still convert them to double stack. I am sure somebody will come along and tell us for sure how it is done. All I know is that it is possible that the trunnion is narrower and that it is possible to convert it to double stack. |
