There is a setof 4 E. German mags with a pouchj in my SGN catalog, "slightly used" for 32.00 bucks. Are thes any good? I know you can use just about any mag in an AK but will they work? Thanks.

That is a bit on the highside. www.joeken.com/akmags.htm has new mags for $7.99ea(10 or more), and specials on mags sets. Give them a try.

I think you need 7.62 mags, correct?

Also be careful on the slightly used ones. I bought some the had small dings in them...won't feed over 15 rounds, If I am buying used I handpick them.
