Anyone here had any experience with K-VAR?
I ordered some mags from them and when I received the shipment last week they sent me the wrong caliber. The order form enclosed has 5.45 but the actual mags are 7.62. Trouble is I've been trying to contact them about it since and no one is answering phones or email. Voicemail boxes are full. The mags they sent are cheaper than what I ordered and now, of course, everything is out of stock on their website. Am I screwed? |

7.62 what?
I ordered 7.62 30 round bulgarian circle 10 waffle mags and they shipped them along with the rifle to FFL Great Southwest Gun.. got UPS receipt but GSG denies getting them...Can't say who messed up..but I asked to see surveillance footage of when UPS dropped the 3 boxes off and they would not do it. They state over and over if we don't have them we didn't get them from UPS...store looks unorganized and crappy and the employees all replied as if they were lying... K-var is out of stock on all mags so your screwed for now..probably take awhile to get through what mags did you get what did you order? |

First post on the boards... been lurking for a while, just registered.
I actually ordered an SGL21-61 back on 12/29/2012 and it arrived at the FFL of my choosing on 1/16/2013. I also ordered 3 Circle 10 mags at the same time. My FFL received all of it, although the mags were in a separate box. No problems and considering the current state of things with most vendors, I would have to say that I would definitely do business with K-Var again. |

Yeah I got the rifle, and I got ammo..but I was supposed to get 8 7.62 30 round circle 10 mags.. I could have ordered them through midway for cheaper and all I got was the smooth side 5 round mag included with the rifle and I'm pretty sure a PACK OF LIES from GSG...I want my mags...I don' tblame K-var for the most part but WHY they didn't send the mags to my address instead of the FFL seeing as you don't need an FFL for mags and they didn't ship them in the same BOX...I have received about 11 packages from ups/usps in less than 5 months and no issues.. but ONE DEAL with Great HORRIBLE Southwest Gun and the shipment is screwed up... doesn't UPS scan each box when it's delivered? So doesn't that mean they are LYING like hell? I think I am going to file a missing package report with UPS and put some heat on GSG. I already emailed K-var about this and told them that they should NEVER ship mags to a dealer as part of an FFL order by a customer...why because I'm pretty sure someone at GSG opened that box up and saw 'GOLD' and they kept them for themselves or sold them either at the store or elsewhere. I'm pissed because GSG and other people are trying to put this on me? TOTAL BS!!! I hope GSG goes bankrupt as they are a very crappy place and they are very unprofessional...nobody said they were sorry or anything.. they just get mad at me for posting the TRUTH and FACTS on these forums...well the longer this goes on the MORE POSTING of the TRUTH I will do. Can't sue me for telling the truth!!! I see the mags are 1.04lbs a piece.. I got UPS receipt showing two 10lb boxes and one 4lb box...one 10lb box = rifle other 10lb box = 8 mags.. so what was in the 4lb box? What all did you get with the RIFLE? |

These mags are the best and they are sold out everywhere.. I don't want my money back, I want my MAGS.. and they will be worth 4 times that if they get banned! Makes this even worse. You BETTER BELIEVE that if I don't whats coming to me then THEY WILL GET WHAT IS COMING TO THEM!!!! |

I guess packaging could make 8-9lbs of mags weigh 14lbs and be shipped in two separate boxes.. but just not sure because they deny getting the other boxes, saying if they got them they will find them in the store otherwise they didn't get them? Annoyed, because I could have ordered from midway at that time and got them cheaper, figured I was better off getting them all from the same place.. and then FUCK NO.. no fucking mags!!! |
