Got one today and ordered 2 more! Wish I would've just gotten 3 and saved $10 on shipping.

Different retailors have different definitions of "Excellent condition," but these magazines are pretty much new, at least the one I got.

I feel your pain. AIM will not ship pre ban mags to NY even though they are perfectly legal to own!

Got mine today.  They came with some weird mag-rebuild type wire that only allowed them to be loaded to ten rounds or so.  Removed that, and loaded them up to 45.  Anybody else have that problem?

There is a video now on the bottom of the AIM page showing how to take off that magazine block off so it looks like many/most of them came with that extra wire on there.

I'm curious to know why they would have the wire.  Are people in ban states willing to pay 50$ for 45 round mags that are limited to 10?  Or did the Russians set them up that way for some reason?

AIM said in their industry forum that this is more than likely it for these.   I have seen them elsewhere, but at least double AIM's price.

I'm a bit short on disposable income at present but I still ordered one and I'm glad I did.

My 3 finally came in and they make a great storage device for 45 rounds

Got my two. Boy, they're pretty. Both look new or near new. One has SIX stamps, including an OTK 1983. Perfect for my early Afghan AKS-74.

Mine showed up today. Not new but it's in excellent shape with plenty of ink stamps.

Those $50 dollar mags were going for $100 before these landed. The wire can be removed.

I know it can be removed, but why have it there in the first place?

Because we live in one of the more free countries in the world.

The wire had to be emplaced to meet import/export restrictions overseas.
