Just received four slabsides from Latvia.  They all look new and even have a silver ink 4 stamped on them.  Problem is, they are parkerized or some other flat black coating.  I have purchased many mags and other items from the guy, so I know they are straight out of Russia and Latvia.  Any help would be appreciated.  Are they correct?  Less rare/sought after?  Value in mint condition?

They are supposed to be blued so I would guess they have been redone.
Its nice to hear that the customs crack down has apparently been resolved!

Posting same questions on another forum.

thanks.  I purchased 24 mags and with shipping, I paid about $30 for the slabs.  Would like to know if any  of the others are somewhat rare.

3 IZH 7.62 Bakelight.  1 low mold line.  1 no reenforced lips.  1 flat back.

2 Tula 7.62 Bakelight.  Both have flat base plates.

4 slabside parked.

2 Tula 5.45 Bakelight.

1 IZH 5.45 Bakelight.

4 Tula 5.45 plum.  1 looks new.  3 scratched/used.

4 Molot 5.45 45rd Bakelight.  Perfect.

4 IZH 7.62 polymer ribbed with arrow and triangle.  New.

I have lots of the IZH plums but these are the first Tula plums I have had.  Not looking for a value, just any input on rarity, collectability, etc.

Thanks.
