I run into a what appears to be a Soviet Izmash 30 rounder when scavenging a local surplus store. As far as I can tell it has never been put into a rifle, and seems to still have th eoriginal SU grease on it. Is there any value in it?

They had a bin of normal Finnish surplus mags (ribbed phosphated steel ones with lanyard loop) 8 euros each, and that one was in the bin among the others. They were actually already closed so I just grabbed it and ran to the counter. I wonder if there were more of those there.

It sounds like the mags with the lanyard loops are Valmet mags.
They kinda hard to find here but you are in Finland so that is
understandable. We need a store like that here in Georgia!
I'm paying about $75 for two slabsides and you paid 8 euros-
like $12 or so... And for a perfect one.You lucky dog!
