I need help identifying some AK 30 round agazines I have. I read the sticky on this forum about identifying mags but I wasn't able to positively identify them, that's why I am asking for help.

I purchased a whole bunch of these mags in the 1980s at a gun show when I bought a Norinco Type 56. Through the years, I somehow managed not use eight of these mags. I need to identify them so I can sell them. I would also like to know how much they are worth.

When I bought these mags, I was told they were made by Norinco. They matched the three mags that came with my Type 56. I took a couple pics tonight to show you what they look like. Glancing at them, the four on the left don't have any markings. The four on the right say 'Made in China' on the floor plate. Ironically, this is the first time I ever noticed they had different floor plates.

The finish is 98-99 percent. I took them out of the packaging when I first bought them and they have been sitting in my safe ever since (around 20 years). Let me know what you think.

From my understanding, and I could be wrong, the ones stamped Made in China are commercial mags, while the non stamped mags are military.

I have some of each and I can not tell the difference besides the stamp.

They are just Chinese flat-back mags.

Thanks for the info. Any idea how much they are worth?

It's hard to tell by the photos but probably around $20-$30 might be about right.  Do some searches through Gunbroker, AuctionArms, etc. to get a feel of an average.  If any had a floorplate with "Poly China" or the like, they might be worth another extra $10.  Chinese magazines are hard to price since they sometimes fluctuate in prices anymore.

I do have a Polytech mag I was comparing them to. They seems to be identical in every way--same finish, flat back design, same number of spot welds, etc. The only real difference betwwen them is the Polytech mag says "POLY-CHINA", four mags say nothing, and four mags say "MADE IN CHINA". I'll give the gun sell websites a look. I just wanted to be sure of what I have before trying to put them up for sale.
