| I have ordered 1000 fmj from sportsmans guide on 02/02/2007 and they delayed untill 02/26/2007 now they tell me its delayed untill 03/06/2007. Why is it getting harder to come by. |
| I just ordered 1K of Wolf MC HP from SPG. I will let you know if the pull this with me. I have never had any problems with them in the past. | This past weekend at a funshow 7.62X39 sold out the 1st day at the only 2 tables offering it. "The ammo Vultures are Out", Said one of them. Did I mention that Brown bear 7.62X39 was priced at $87.50/500rds plu tax also Wolf .223 was marked $199/1k ouch. I'm ordering my Golden Tiger 2nite From AIM @ $169.95 shipped to The Land of OZ. |
| I ordered 1K from cheaperthandirt it was 207 delivered. I went with them because I did not have to send a copy of my drivers license which I do not do because to me thsts info they dont need. I understand the age thing but I will protesc my SSN and DL# as much as possable. My shipment will be here today. |
| Let's see... I placed an order for a can of Wolf black box FMJ (I think that's 640 rds) with SPG at the beginning of last November. It was delayed until early December...then the end of December...now I think the last backorder I received came in for sometime in May. I let them keep it on backorder mostly because it's kind of a challenge now to see just how long they'll take... |

I bought 9000 rds of wolf last year from SPG. I had back ordered: 4000 MC 762 FMJ got in in 7 months @ 119 a case delivered 4000 BB 762 HP got in in 5 months @ 123 a case delivered 1000 MC 545 FMJ got it in 4 months @ 135 delivered 3000 BB 762 SP was canceled by them as no longer available. I also played the magazine lottery 5 times. Always came through. The way I see it is, patience pays off. Back order the fuck out of it when it's cheap. Then wait and wait, you just may get cheap ammo. I had my doubts, but I answered every email and letter to stay on back order. No bitching from me.  |
now i can understand the ammo pile and bottled water, but dude, Cat Food? Fancy feast cat food at that? buy dog food to stock pile you get a larger portion size at a lower price per ounce.

What I want to know is what's in the plastic ammo boxes  And yes, you are a lucky bastard to have all that cheap ammo. I have barely 3000 rounds, and 2K of that is golden tiger I paid $165 a case shipped. The last 1K I have is Wolf BB I was able to buy at $85 a case shipped. Dayum, wish I would have bought about 10 more cases of that. When SG was at ~$125 a case I thought that was outrageous, so I didn't order any. Now that $150 is the norm, I really regret that. |
