AMMO IS COMING BACK!!!! > Ammunition

Seems to be that every boddy is getting x39 back in stock slowly. local Fun Shops are receiveing ammo, but its still rediculiously *spelling* priced... But seems like when all the backorders are filled we will have ammo again!!!!

or i hit the joint too hard......... who knows........

I've been hearing this for months, but I've not seen ANY difference in the cost and availability of 7.62x39.

It's very irritating.

You hear conflicting reports. Some are like, "we won't be seeing anymore shipments indefinately", and others are like "they are shipping X number of rounds".

All I can say is that is some of the slowest shipping I've ever heard of...

Actually, I've seen a little more Wolf around... Nothing decent like Barnaul, Silver Bear, cheetah, etc...

Gun show in Hickory NC had some silverbear and plenty of wolf for $110/k. they say that its coming back in, but everybody is trying to catch up on backorders....

For what it's worth (probably not a whole lot...) my local dealer told me to hold off buying any 7.62 until he was stocked up and the price dropped back down

yea, prices are still outrageous, so i do recomend holding off on buying, cause its starting to fill back in and there will be more than enough, well if they have 100 cases and nobody is buying it @ 150/k then they have to lower the prices......

Yeah calm heads need to prevail and let the prices stablize with the supply. Too many horders around this board but we can always hope.

Eventually the hoarders will have thier fill. Then they will feel stupid about the 20K rounds of ammo they bought at $150/k when it drops back below $100/k. Like any other market it has its peaks and valleys. We may never see another valley as low as, say, $65/k, but right now i feel we're on the summit and the only place to go is down.

The cheapest I've ever seen was $55/case. The most expenisive was $250/case. I'm definitely holding off on buying any until the prices agree with my wallet again. I haven't fired my rifle in close to three weeks now. I have kind of forgotten what it feels like. The old whore is on standby.

Even if the re-supply is coming it will take a while since there are so many
backorders out there for the retailers to catch up on . It may not really stabilize
until the mid to latter part of the year. There are a tremendous amount of backorders
unfilled.

yea, i have 2k backordered from cabelas @ $94/k. seen at my range today they had wolf and it was $179.90/k

They are very content on that its not coming in anytime soon. I see otherwise, all we can do is keep our heads up........

Ordered My cases of wolf on the 17th of march for $94.00 a case, they shipped on the 27th and will be here on the 29th. hahahahahahaha

Ammo is coming back.......

I was at a Gun Show in SoCal this last weekend (Wow, that was interesting....I'm from the Peoples Free Republic of Arizona), and Miwal had display's in three buildings, AND, all of them had 7.62x39.

It WASN'T CHEAP.......But, they had it. I think it was $89.95 for 500, and either $179 or 189 for 1000.

They did say that they were getting more of it in.....

Still pretty spendy though.....

AMMO MY AZZ! Sorry. Everyone I call has it on backorder and won't be shipped for months. Cabelas here says they wont have any till the end of may which translates too maybe June and even if they get any it will probably won't even be enough for one person.

I don't know where you are getting ammo for $95/K. The Cabelas code you have is listed for $125/K + Shipping, and its on backorder.

yea they kicked the old number for the FMJ up to $125/k, but the HP and SP are still @ $95/k....
