Ive been running 120ish grain through my AK's, but Ive seen some 150 and just wondered how the AK handles that.  It seems like too much, considering I run 150 through my PSL, which uses the 7.62x54.

Seems to go well, it does run slower than the 122 gr.

I notice more recoil when shooting in a pistol, but other report in a rifle no difference.

Off the top of my head a .357 mag. pushes a 158 gr. bullet 1200 fps and this pushes a 154 gr. 2200 fps.

I have shot a few boxes of wolf 154g SP through my Maddi. Shoots well enough for deer with iron sights. Never had a problem, ran good.
