| Has any one tried hornady V-Max bullets in any of the 7.62x39 AKs? If so how did you like them and were they used for hunting? Got some brass that needs reloading and those have been the best deal I can find in the 123gr area. |

I shoot the Hornady 123 gr. .310 V-MAX out of both my SKS rifles. The V stands for varmint,not sure they would make a good hunting rd. for anything larger than small white tail at a reasonable range and well placed shots, there pretty explosive. Probably would make and excellent SD rd better than the steel case HP or SP. I like them have about 500 on hand I got on the cheap couple years ago.
50 yd. Target Chinese SKS iron sights, squares are 1/2"
