HUGE +1 to ZombieKiller.....my local Academy has Barnaul for only 5.69 a box plus tax, so it is MUCH cheaper
and cleaner ammo to boot.....sounds like some businesses may not be raising the ammo prices to screw you but the shipping prices (yeah I know supply and demand drives the prices, but I don't think all distributors jacked up their wholesale prices that bad, do you?). 
If you are lucky enough to have a business address you can ship to using UPS, try that. It is slightly cheaper than a residential address, if the dealer you are buying from gives you the option....

| They are raping people on shipping. That is not anywhere near what it cost to ship ammo. I just shipped 2500 rounds in 2 ammo cans for $40.00. I also ordered a case of 762 x 39 a couple weeks ago and was only charged $11 and some change from another company. They are advertising a cheaper price then making up the difference on shipping what a scam. |
