Anyone else have this problem? on the left my soft tipped gets scraped away when chambered in my wasr10 is this normal? i know what is causing it in the chamber, just looks like this ak was not designed to load soft tip. it fires just fine.

It is common in a lot of semi-autos, and especially Ak's.

In a match grade target rifle, yes it might effect accuracy at a given range. In an ak I don't think you will ever notice the difference. Some ak's will feed soft point well and some won't feed them at all with out modification. They were designed to feed full metal jacket ammo.

American Rifleman performed a 'bullet tip damage test' several years ago.The author dropped several soft tip bullets down a pipe so they'd always land nose first. He did even worse damage than you did to your bullets.

He didn't note any change in accuracy.

I have thios problem with my converted saiga. It takes a lot more than that off tho and greatly effect accuracy and also dislodged a feed ramp. Guy I brought it off had them weilded in or something

Consider a ramp from dinzag.com (happy with my 556 one, no issues with straight round and hp even)

Reports of extra-soft sp seem to be a trend for the last 2yrs only..
