Could, or would it be safe to take the bullet out of a 7.62 x 39 round and put it in a 7.62 x 54R round? 7.62 x 39 round = 124 gr. min., 7.62 x 54R = 203 gr. What kind of performance would you expect?

The 54R typically uses a .310 diameter bullet vs the 39's .311, it would be reasonably safe to do it as long as you use proper powder charge weights, the 54R can be loaded with bullets ranging from 110 grains up to 220 grains.
