I reviewed a lot of your FAQ's but didn't find an answer to this.  I have a couple of rifles that won't consistently fire Wolf 7.62x39 ammo because of the primer hardness.  These rifles work fine with any of the more expensive non-Russian brass cased ammo because they use different primers that require less striking force.  Do all of the Russian ammo's utilize the same hard type primers or are there some that require less striking force?  Thanks for your help.

From what I understand, Russian mil-spec 7.62x39 is supposed to have hard primers.  Soft primers supposedly can actually be bad for your AK or SKS.  The firing pin can get messed up with 'em.

What types of rifles are they?  Maybe the rifles are out of headspace or something.  I know my 4 AKs and 1 SKS eat hard primered Wolf, Golden Tiger, Brown/Sliver Bear all day long with no problems.

Thanks for your reply.  The rifle I am primarily concerned with is a Ruger Mini 30. The other rifle that was intermittent
with Wolf ammo was an AR-15 with a 7.62x39 upper.  Are there any non -Russian brands of ammo that are near the price range of Wolf ammo?

Look into Romanian Hotshot.  Worth a try.
