I have a new GP 10/63..fired about 130 rounds through her a few weeks ago, gave it a rough cleaning {ran brush through it}
Anyway, I was showing it to a friend and noticed rust in the break. Tried removing it with the brush that came with the cleaning kit that came with it..no luck. Any Suggestions?

*****Forgot to add that I was shooting the cheap russian ammo that came in a plain white box corrosive I guess?****

Take the brake off the rifle, soak it in oil for a day or so, then attach with an old toothbrush...

EDIT:: AttacK with an old toothbrush, not attacH...

Use Blue Wonder gun cleaner.

I inspect and clean my threaded muzzle compensator everytime after shooting it.
(remove it, remove any grit or fouling with clean cotton cloth (fresh t-shirt material) on barrel end, compensator too

....and if storing rifle for long time or long-term storage, may want to apply very thin film of
quality gun oil to outer compensator surface......wait  5, 10 minutes, then buff and remove oil.

I would apply same theory for cleaning it as the AK receiver:  generally keeping parts clean and absolutely dry.
Inspect each time clean barrel and you shouldn't have a prob in future.
