Is there a trick to install the pistol grip. I ordered the screw and insert. I ended up opening the hole the insert goes into to get it to angle. But even that wasn't enough to keep it from screwing up the threads on the screw. I ended up using threaded rod at the moment. yea, just happened to have 6mm threaded rodhing. I did try to seat the insert, the threads in it are fine. I contacted copes both in writing and a phone call. Left a message. They have not gotton back with me at all. I just wanted to buy a new one. Kinda ticks me off. I could understand if I reefed on the screw and it screwed the threads up. But I didn't. Its not even that I would want them to warrente the screw. I guess I will have to order the screw from a fastener maker. Oh well. |
