I recently picked up two Romanian AK kits and was thinking about finishing them by completing my own receiver from a blank. My first question is about the 1.0 and 1.6 mm receivers. What does this dimension refer to? Does it matter which I use? Are there other types I should be considering? Next question is about DCI/NDS. I have seen these terms on another post referencing receivers, but have no idea what they mean. Thanks... |

1.0 mm 1.6 mm are the thickness of the reciver material it self.S 80% receivers 2 types. The already bent with a template to cut along the dotted line the flats which have all the holes done but need bending. There are 3 companies I can recall that make 100% recivers. Nodac,,Global/Armoury and Ohio ordnance. Since you have a Romy kit...Just get a regular 100% reciver. have fun |
