I had just built up this Tantal and as luck would have it, I ran into a used trombone case at the local music store for 12 bucks. A little foam, a yard of fabric.... The crushed velvet looks kickarse in person but I couldn't pull a picture off to show it off. The inset is one piece of 1" slab foam cut out with the outline and I have a 1/2" piece underneath. The velvet is attached to the foam with spray adhesive.  I wanted to leave room for 2 mags but there was simply insufficient room near the top to allow a cushion for the weapon. This is about a discreet case as I've made so far. Anyone want to start up a band? |
