I'm getting ready to start heat treating my builds and would like to know my options. Do I really want to take the thing out commercially for heat treatment or should I fire up the acetylene torch and do it myself. Been debating and am starting to think that I should do it myself. This a bad idea? And if I do it myself how would I go about heat treating the receiver? Also Would I do it before the rails are welded in and what parts exactly would I need to heat treat?
